100 Days to Brave: Devotions for Unlocking for Your Most Courageous Self
This book is necessary for any woman who finds herself questioning if she is brave. The answer is YES! Annie walks you through God’s truth about it and it’s life-changing.

Unscripted: The Unpredictable Moments That Make Life Extraordinary by Ernie Johnson Jr.
There is so much applicable insight and knowledge between these pages. The way Ernie shares the story of his life and the way God changed his heart brought me to tears. I have so much respect for Ernie and his character. Add this book to your must read list.

Hannah’s Hope: Seeking God’s Heart in the Midst of Infertility, Miscarriage, and Adoption Loss by Jennifer Saake
There are many examples of barren women in the Bible, including a woman named Hannah. You will learn her story and relate to every emotion and thought Hannah had during her infertility wait. This book is raw, vulnerable and genuine. What I liked the most was at the end of each chapter there is a section for those around us (Burden Bearers) to better understand what infertility couples are going through and how to talk to them.

In Due Time: Hope and Encouragement in the Waiting by Caroline Harries
Daily devotional encouraging you to trust in God’s faithfulness in the wait. Caroline’s story is one we all can relate to, no matter what we are waiting for.

The One: An Amazing Love Story Starts With You by Ryan and Amanda Leak
This is a must read whether you are married or are waiting for “the one.” This book is about being the one for your current spouse or the one you are looking for. The pages are full of practical lessons and questions to apply for a lifetime of love.

Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young
Short daily devotionals that quickly and easily bring your focus back to Jesus. Every time I read a devotion, it has applied to something either happening that day or a situation I am going through.

This book was a reaffirmation for me about starting a blog. Many of the examples she shares are similar to the nudging I felt from God. The overall theme resonates with the purpose of Living in the Wait. It was a refreshing read that will encourage you to follow what God has laid on your heart, no matter how scared you feel. I finished this book ready to take on the world and of course, brave.
