Jeremy Camp is one of my all-time favorite artists. His acoustic shows are out of this world. When I think of our infertility journey, everything we have gone through and will continue to go through, I get overwhelmed and feel extremely powerless.
This song, especially the refrain, is the encouragement I need to realize the power I have living in me because of Jesus. He gives me (and you!) the power to overcome the worries of this world. It is not easy and requires daily effort on my part to remember the power I have. I may not “feel” that power some days, but just because I do not feel it does not mean I do not have it.
These lyrics challenge us to visualize the physical power our God has as it translates to the spiritual power we have because of Him. If He can move mountains with His voice, imagine what He can do in our lives. He has the power to do so much if we let Him. Check it out, Jeremy Camp – Same Power.
