It’s Valentine’s Day and we all know what today is about: LOVE! Good thing, because that ties in perfectly with it also being E+DAY!
What is E+DAY you ask? On the 14th of each month, I encourage you to encourage someone else going through a season of waiting or infertility by sending them a care package/note/text/call, etc. It doesn’t have to be anything big or expensive. Just a simple “I am thinking of you” can mean so much. I promise your act with lift up not only the person you are directing it to, but also yourself.
Back to Valentine’s Day, did you know love is a form of encouragement? When someone is loved they feel safe and supported. It gives them confidence and reassurance. They feel seen. Love is not solely tied to a spouse or significant other. It can be given and received from friends, family, strangers and most importantly, yourself.
Show someone you love today by sending them some encouragement. That might come in the form of red roses or boxes of chocolate. Maybe a massage or a night off from doing the dishes. Or it could be as simple as sending an emoji heart via text to the ones you love. Either way, make it happen. The key is to be intentional. If you feel that prompt, do not second-guess whether or not you should send something.
