E+DAY July 2021 – How Your Story Can Encourage Others

One of the main reasons I started Living in the Wait was to share my story in hopes of bringing encouragement to someone else navigating a similar journey. So many have shared their own stories with me and each one taught me so much and most of all, encouraged me.

Your Story Can Encourage Others

The dream to write a book has been roaming around in my heart for a few years now. When Living in the Wait first started, the idea to write a book became more of a reality, but one without much action.

Much has happened since the seed of writing a book was planted and here I am, with my first book set to launch October 2021. The writing process has been illuminating and terrifying. I’ve learned a lot about my story and God’s hand throughout all of it. Looking back, I can see how the puzzle pieces of my life fit together and the ways God worked His power through all the seasons of waiting I’ve experienced.

All this to say, your story has the power to encourage others. The way you worked through a circumstance, how you handled a situation, or your unwavering faith. All of these are part of your story and can encourage others working to write their own. Your life, the things you’ve navigated or are navigating, hold so much value. For many, the story might not be one you would’ve written or maybe it’s not one your proud of. But know this, God can use all parts of our story.

One of the main reasons I started Living in the Wait was to share my story in hopes of bringing encouragement to someone else navigating a similar journey. So many have shared their own stories with me and each one taught me so much and most of all, encouraged me.

Now it’s your turn to share yours.

Join The Wait List

I’m inviting you to be a part of my upcoming book, Living in the Wait: What to Do When Life Doesn’t Go According to Plan, which talks about something we all experience, waiting! We often feel lost when it comes to navigating these in-between times and can feel like we’re stuck on The Wait List.

I want to include your awaited breakthrough, your unmet desire in my book for a few reasons:

  1. I want to cover you in prayer! Think of it this way, anyone who opens this book, will see your request, and be encouraged to pray for you. Imagine having thousands of people lifting you up in prayer!
  2. Sharing means we also get to also witness God’s faithfulness in providing for that desire. It may look different than what you imagine and it may take longer than you want, but one thing I’ve learned through my own seasons of waiting, is that God is faithful and He cares about you and your desires.
  3. I want you to know you’re not alone and you have a community of people supporting and praying for you.

Sharing something so personal might be painful. I encourage you to use caution to protect yourself and your heart as you prayerfully consider submitting.

To have your wait considered for my upcoming book, complete The Wait List form.

So for this E+DAY, I encourage you to share your story. It doesn’t have to be all of it. But maybe there is one part, that would bring encouragement to someone else you know today.

Not sure what E+DAY is? Check out this page for more info… I know you are curious!

Please share with someone you know who could use some encouragement in the wait.
